1. About Us

Summit Training Company (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides professional training services, including but not limited to Security Industry Authority (SIA) licensed courses and related professional development programmes.

We operate in accordance with applicable UK legislation and relevant awarding body requirements.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing our website, booking a course, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services.

3. Eligibility

To enrol on our courses, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (unless otherwise stated)

  • Meet the eligibility requirements set by the relevant awarding body

  • Provide accurate and complete information during booking and registration

4. Course Bookings & Payments

  • All course bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by us

  • Full payment (or agreed deposit where applicable) must be made prior to course commencement

  • Prices are displayed in GBP and may be subject to VAT where applicable

  • We reserve the right to amend course fees at any time (this will not affect confirmed bookings)

5. Course Bookings, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Non-Refundable Bookings

All course bookings with Summit Training Company (a trading name of Never Ending Learning Limited) are strictly non-refundable.

Once a booking has been confirmed and payment has been made, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Rescheduling by Learners

  • Where a learner provides a minimum of 21 days’ written notice prior to the course start date, we will offer the opportunity to transfer to an alternative training date, subject to availability.

  • No refunds will be offered in lieu of rescheduling.

  • A £25 administration fee is payable for each course reschedule request.

  • Rescheduled courses must be completed within a reasonable timeframe and are subject to availability.

Late Notice / Non-Attendance

  • Requests to reschedule made within 21 days of the course start date will not be accepted.

  • Failure to attend, late arrival, or withdrawal on the course start date will result in full forfeiture of fees paid.

Provider Changes

In the unlikely event that Summit Training Company needs to cancel or reschedule a course, learners will be offered:

  • A transfer to an alternative date or

  • A full refund

6. Course Attendance & Conduct

Learners must:

  • Attend all required course hours

  • Arrive on time and participate fully

  • Behave in a professional and respectful manner

We reserve the right to remove any learner whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

7. Certification & Assessment

  • Certification is subject to successful completion of the course and assessments

  • We do not guarantee a pass or the issuing of a licence

  • Final certification decisions rest with the awarding body (e.g. SIA-approved awarding organisations)

8. Learner Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you meet awarding body requirements

  • Providing valid identification and documentation when required

  • Applying for your SIA licence independently upon successful completion

We are not responsible for rejected licence applications.

9. Intellectual Property

All course materials, content, logos, and website content are the intellectual property of Summit Training Company and must not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without prior written consent.

10. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse our website

  • Attempt unauthorised access to systems or data

  • Upload malicious content or engage in unlawful activity

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the course fees paid

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence

12. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Complaints & Appeals

Complaints or appeals should be submitted in writing via our official contact details.
We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and in line with awarding body procedures.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The latest version will always be published on our website.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
